The following rules are expected to be followed by all participants involved in the conference:
ACAMUN Dress code:
- Formal Attire is MANDATORY (no jeans or shorts.)
- No tight clothing
- Dresses and skirts must be below the knee in length while sitting.
- No bare shoulders at any times.
- Heels must be shorter than 2 inches.
General Rules:
- All participants are asked to act with mutual respect.
- Any instance of the following will not be tolerated and result in a warning, the temporary suspension from, or the expulsion from the conference:
- Possession of real or imitation weapons.
- The Three Warning System is in place:
- A delegate’s third warning during a session will result in their expulsion from the session.
- A session ejection will lead to consideration of conference expulsion.
- Physical or verbal abuse.
- Roughhousing.
- Smoking or substance usage.
- Plagiarism of any resolution’s preambulatory or operative clause, real or conference-made, will result in:
- The barring of the plagiarizer from the main or second submitting any resolution.
- The following actions are not allowed during debate and are subject to warnings:
- Eating, gum chewing, drinking, or consuming other non-water substances.
- Use of a mobile phone, or other distracting technological devices for purposes not related to the conference.
- Other disruptive behavior – considered at the Student Officers’ discretion.
- The Admin Staff and the Student Officers have a right to censor and check:
- Laptops used during debate.
- Notes passed during debate.
- Documents and other items passed during debate.
- For admission to a session, delegates must:
- Display their badge and placard.
- Be dressed formally and appropriately. c. Act professionally.
- Delegates may not wear national dress, military costumes, casual or risqué clothing during scheduled sessions.
- No ordering food.
